Halogen headlights with a long history, the production and the 1960s is filled with iodine and bromine halogen or halide tungsten lamp. In addition to the production of halogen lamps is very mature, the cost is the lowest in the headlights, so widely used in the market.   
The shortcoming of: lack of brightness is the biggest disadvantage of halogen headlamps, road lighting effect, less than xenon headlights and LED headlights, and the use of life is also relatively short, generally for about 3 years. Now that people have gradually increased the requirements of light source, so the future of halogen lamps will gradually be replaced.
